FAQ
Answers
- How are the files backed up ?
-
Once your account is activated, there is a software download that needs to be installed on your computer. By configuring the options in the software, you can choose which files are going to be backed up and when they will be backed up. Your files are automatically backed up to our storage server at the scheduled time. You can also manually back up files anytime.
- How do I know my files can't be read by anyone else?
-
When you create your backup set, you are asked to create and set your own encryption key. This key is used to encrypt the files before upload, and the key is never transmitted with the files. Without the key the your files are unreadable.
