Software
- Once your account is activated, you will be sent a confirmation email.
- The mail contains a link to download the YachtBackup Manager software.
- YachtBackup Manager is downloaded and installed on your computer.
- You use YachtBackup Manager to select the files you want to back up and set the encryption key.You can easily filter files for backup by indicating the type of file you would like to backup, such as *.doc or *.xls.
- The inbuilt scheduler uploads the files at a preset time.
- You will receive backup reports stating all files for which copies have been received. You will receive such a report by email after each backup.
- To restore files, simply highlight the files you want to restore from the YachtBackup Manager explorer window, and restore.
- Even deleted files can be repaired and you can choose from different earlier versions.
- You can log on to the YachtBackup storage server from any internet capable computer. By supplying the encryption key when prompted, you will be able to access and download any of your files.
- Live Update automatically updates your software to ensure you have the latest release.
